Did you know that Mathematics is an expressive language?
You can use it to create beautiful pictures, real or abstract. You can also use math to make movies by syncing your pictures with music, noise, or the passage of time. You can create some very serious videos, or hysterically funny ones if you prefer (provided you use the right noises)!
As I matured, I became interested in integrating the two sides of myself, the photographer and the math student. So now I pursue both photography and mathematical art, a type of algorithmic art, separately and as mixed media. I have recently developed an interest mathematical animation, and joke telling, but more about that later!
