Biography

I have been a photographer for over 60 years, making my first B&W print in 1957. As a youngster, I studied composition from my father Sol Levenson, a professional artist, WPA Muralist, and Fullbright Scholar. After graduating from college with a degree in mathematics, I got a job as a darkroom man in a studio near Boston. Later, I opened my own studio, and did commercial work for nearly 25 years. After changing careers, I returned to my first love, Landscape Photography. After my father died in 2006, I began drawing and painting. Today I avidly pursue painting and photography, and Mathematical Art.
